This Privacy Policy describes how Wildlife Protection Solutions (“WPS”) will treat the information you give or make available to WildX as a Service (the “Service”) or the Service’s associated app, available in app stores (collectively, the “App”), all of which relate to wildlife and conservation efforts. The Service and App are provided by WPS, 2501 Welton St., Denver, CO 80205, USA. Your acceptance of this Privacy Policy, or any use by you of the Service or App, constitutes your agreement to all of the provisions set forth herein. If you do not accept this Privacy Policy, you may not use the Service or App. If you are using the Service or App on behalf of a corporation, organization or governmental agency, then your acceptance of this Privacy Policy or use of the Service or App also constitutes agreement by such corporation, organization or governmental agency to comply with this Privacy Policy. This Policy applies to end users of the Service or App (“Users”) who are using or accessing the Service or App from the United States or from any other country from which such use or access is authorized under the WildX Terms of Service (the “Terms of Service”).
- Personal Information.
(a) Do the Service and App collect Personal Information?
We accept registrations for use of the Service or Site by individuals, governmental bodies or other organizations or groups, each of which is given an account username and password plus a number of individual usernames and passwords that it may assign to persons within such body, organization or group. We do not, however, track pairings of particular individuals with individual usernames and passwords. To register with us, you may be required to provide information about yourself. If any information that you or any individual User within your governmental body or other organization or group provides to us or that we obtain via registration or via use or access of the Service or App is personally identifiable information about an individual (“Personal Information”), such information will be used and processed only in the manner authorized for Personal Information in this Privacy Policy. Subject to Section 9 below, if you do not wish to provide any Personal Information, do not use the Service or App.
(b) What do we do with any Personal Information we collect?
We will use any Personal Information of yours that we collect only to provide the Service or App to you, including personalization of the Service for you, to communicate with you and to send you any software updates. We will share Personal Information with others only as set forth in this Policy. We may combine your Personal Information with other information and use such information in combined form, but in all cases only as described in this Policy. If we wish to share your Personal Information with others for any other reason or in any manner not authorized under this Policy, we will first request and obtain your separate consent.
We may use service-related third party providers, such as hosting services or information processors, to help us operate the Service and App. We require these companies to agree to adhere to this Policy regarding any Personal Information they obtain from you. These companies are authorized to use your Personal Information only for the limited purpose of the services provided by them to us.
We may disclose your Personal Information as required by law, such as to comply with an authorized subpoena, or in response to a government request. We may disclose Personal Information if we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, investigate fraud, protect your safety or the safety of others, or protect our operations or security. In the event of a merger, acquisition or sale of all or a portion of our company or the Service or App, we may transfer Personal Information to the successor company, in which case we will announce the event on the App, as well as describe any choices you may have regarding your Personal Information. We will not give or sell User e-mail addresses to any other persons or entities, although we may use User e-mail addresses to communicate with Users ourselves.
The internet is a global environment. By using the Service or App, you consent to trans-border and international transmission of any Personal Information we collect from you, or from any individual User within your organizational body or other organization or group, to servers located anywhere in the world, including but not limited to the United States.
(c) How do we protect any Personal Information we collect?
We maintain physical, technical and administrative safeguards to protect any Personal Information we collect from you. We restrict access to only those persons who need to know the Personal Information in question to provide the Service and Site to you and any other persons that you have authorized to have access to your Personal Information. We use Secure Sockets Layer (“SSL”) encryption on all App data where Personal Information is collected. You must use an SSL-enabled device to submit Personal Information to the Service, the App or WPS. If you transmit information about yourself to WPS via e-mail, please remember that communications sent by e-mail are normally not encrypted. So if you wish to reduce transmission risk, we recommend that you communicate to WPS via the App. To the extent that you connect to the Service or App through third party wired or wireless (e.g., cellular) networks, we cannot promise that your communications will not be intercepted by others. You agree that WPS is not liable for damages to you from any loss of privacy occurring in communications over third party networks.
- Non-Personal Information.
(a) Do the Service and Site collect non-personal information?
We may collect Service and App use data that does not allow direct association with a specific individual. For example, we may track the specific content, features or functions you access within the Service and App, the length of time you use specific Service or App features.
(b) What do we do with the non-personal information we collect?
We recognize that the Data and other non-personal data that you input or make available to the Service or App are important to you. Accordingly, we may collect, process, reproduce, translate and otherwise use such data solely to the extent reasonably necessary to administer the Service and App as described in the Terms of Service and this Policy, including providing the Service and App to you and other Users, customizing your Service and App use experience, analyzing the use of the Service and App, maintaining the security of the Service and App and improving or updating the Service and App. You are responsible for any Data or other information that you post outside the Service and App.
You may be able to access portions of the App anonymously without registering, but you cannot use the Service anonymously. If you use portions of the App anonymously without registering, we may still collect App browsing information, which is not assigned to a specific User. We use App browsing information for technical administration in an anonymized form to administer and improve the App, analyze trends and maintain the security of the Service and App.
- Does the Service Use Cookies and Similar Technologies?
We may place content (sometimes referred to as “cookies”) on Users’ devices to digitally personalize the Service and App. Cookies may track a User’s preferences, login credentials and traffic and browsing patterns, and may be permanent or temporary. We may also use other technologies (e.g., web beacons) to track your use of the Service and App. We will not share any Personal Information we obtain via cookies or other means other than as described in this Policy.
- Does the Service Contain Advertising?
The Service is not an advertising-based service. However, the Service and App may display the names, logos, linked URLs and announcements of WPS and other organizations involved in or supporting the development or maintenance of the Service or App. No Personal Information will be collected from you by any organization other than WPS, and no information of yours will be given to any of such organizations by WPS other than as may be described in this Policy.
- Do We Perform Service and App Analysis?
We may analyze the use of the Service and App to improve the performance of the Service and App and to troubleshoot issues as they arise.
- 6. What Is Our Policy Concerning Minors?
As described in the Terms of Service, the Service and Site are intended for use by individuals age 18 or over (or, if higher, the age of majority in the jurisdiction of your use of the Service or Site), or require that individuals below the age of majority in their respective countries be monitored by an adult to use the Service or App.
- How Long Do We Retain Information?
We delete your Personal Information and non-personal information as soon as the information is no longer necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected, unless we retain the information for a longer period to comply with a legal or judicial requirement, government request, audit or contractual requirement. Except for Personal Information we retain for the foregoing reasons, we will delete your Personal Information upon your request made via e-mail in English to [email protected].
- California Service Users.
For California (USA) Service Users Only: The Service does not track Users over time and across third party systems to provide targeted advertising and therefore does not respond to Do Not Track signals. We do not authorize the collection of Personal Information through advertising technologies without separate User consent. We do not disclose Personal Information to third parties for direct marketing by or on behalf of such third parties.
- European Union and United Kingdom Users.
The Service does not collect “personal data” (as defined in the EU General Data Protection Regulation) from Users in countries that are members of the European Union, and does not collect “personal data” (as defined in the UK Data Protection Act of 2018) from Users in the United Kingdom.

(d) How might this Privacy Policy be amended or updated?
We continuously evaluate this Privacy Policy against technological developments, legal requirements and User preferences. Please check the App and Service periodically for possible amendments or updates. If we make material changes, we will post an announcement on the App and Service or send you an e-mail with the announcement. A change to this Privacy Policy is binding on you unless you terminate your Service account, delete your User data and stop using the App, all of which you may do at any time. To terminate your User account and delete your User data, send us an e-mail instruction to that effect in English at [email protected]. If you object to a change in this Privacy Policy, WPS may terminate your right to use or access the Service and App. Continued use of the Service or App by you after the effective date of the change constitutes acceptance of the change by you. For any change to our Privacy Policy, we will not treat or use Personal Information you supplied to us prior to the change in any manner or for any purpose that would not have been permitted prior to the change, unless you affirmatively consent to such new treatment or use.
