Impala drink at a man made watering hole in Dinokeng reserve. The impala is found in bushveld and sometimes on the interface between woodlands and savannahs; it inhabits places close to water. Land owners in drier parts of Africa often provide water sources for wildlife which allows species from impala to elephants to survive in areas that have long dry seasons and few permanent water sources such as this one in southern Africa.
